Nardeen Qassum

Nardeen Qassum is our Branding and PR lead. she holds BA in Economics and Business management and works at Intel corp as a senior accounting lead.
in addition to her day to day job Nardeen is an active volunteer at AIC (Arab Intel community) a community that aims to increase the arab society exposure to high tech industries and helps those who are already integrated in it to be promoted and have key roles. she activly volunteers in AWSc (Arab women in science and engineering) NPO as well, which is a forum that joins together postgraduate Arab women in the fields of sciences and engineering, aiming to support women's professional career pathways in academia as well as in industry.

Elias Tanous

Meet Elias Tanous, a 26 years old Software Engineer at Intel Haifa. Elias holds an Information Systems Engineering degree from the Technion. During his studies, Elias worked as a teaching assistant in the Computers Science faculty. He was also a coordinator at the Equal Opportunities Project (A project that helps first-year Arab students). Besides working at Intel, Elias also works as a freelance Web & App developer. Despite his young age, Elias has managed to contribute in multiple voluntary institutes such as Perach and Irteqaa. He aslo worked on a COVID-19 Data Analytics Tool during the pandemic with a group of doctors, researchers and developers at Intel, which was later adopted by the Ministry of Health and many hospitals.

Hasan Heidar

Hasan Heidar, 25 years old. I'm a B.Sc. Plants Science graduate from the Faculty of Agriculture - The Hebrew university of Jerusalem.
Worked in the past in various AgriTech startups as a research assistant (RA). Today I working as a Laboratory manager in Weizmann Institute of Science (WIS).
I co-founded an AgriTech startup (Seed Stage) with other 2 co-founders.
Interesting in Climate Change and Sustainable/Urban Farming.

I'm Rana, a backend developer from Haifa. I started my bachelor's degree at the Haifa university at the age of 16 as part of the 'Etgar' program for outstanding students. During my studies I joined the 'Perach' program to other students in their first year. Looking forward for the opportunity to make a real change in my community and the world.

Mira Shama

Mira Shama, software engineer at @meta (Facebook, formerly). She completed her BSc in Computer Science at the Technion, Haifa.
During her studies, Mira had a chance to do many things. She worked as private student assistant in mathematics and computer science courses, she worked as student software engineer for Amazon Web Service and she even moved to Germany for half a year as an exchange student at TU Darmstadt before she came back to complete her last semester.
Mira continued to work for Amazon Web Services as full-time software engineer after she completed her BSc degree for year and a half before she left to Meta. At her 25 years, Mira managed to gather a bag full of experiences.
When Mira is not coding, she likes to dance, play tennis, and travel.

Natalia Chicu

Natalia works as a Marketing Communications & Administrative Manager at Exelerate based in Tel Aviv. She carries behind years of volunteering in international NGO's from US, Bulgaria and Moldova, as well as knowledge in Marketing and Recruitment. She finished her Bachelor Degree of Arts in Business Administration at the American University in Bulgaria. Besides her great interpersonal skills, she speaks 3 fluent languages and she's currently learning another 2 - Arabic and Hebrew. Natalia is exceptional in her potential and drive to make a contribution in the community she lives in. She believes that people should focus on becoming ethical and socially aware in development because the world needs empathy and a human-centered approach towards solving worldwide problems such as inequality, poverty, discrimination etc.

Ruba Aburass

Ruba is a community Social Worker. She completed her master’s degree with honors, in human rights and social policy (research studies) at Tel Aviv University.
Ruba is an expert in developing solutions and managing projects in order to get the best out of people.
Currently, Ruba is a Community Business Manager and a Pedagogical Consultant at Unistream - Empowering Youth Entrepreneurship.
She is the Head of the Community Managers in the Entrepreneurship Centers: Yaffo-Tel Aviv, Akko and Nof HaGalil. She leads professional development trainings to the team and provides consultation on planning projects with culture sensitivity.
Ruba also works with entrepreneurs and a variety of businesses. She leads projects on expanding diversity within the business world alongside prominent figures.
Ruba was a Teaching Assistant at three courses in social work and statistics at Tel-Aviv University. She has a passion about research and a deep commitment towards understanding social issues.

Diana Dawahdi

"Diana is a quality engineer at Boston Scientific Corp., ensuring the overall quality and a continual improvement of cryoablation needles manufacturing process, through all product life cycles. Diana is a graduate of the B&FE faculty at the Technion, pursuing her second bachelor's degree in Psychology and Arts at the Openu.
Beside her professional life, Diana just completed a qualification training that allows her to shortly start volunteering at Assiwar, the Feminist Arab Movement, in the emergency chat line, providing emotional support and legal counseling for survivors of sexual abuse and assault.
In her free time, she learns Russian as a fourth language, enjoys Sudoku, and is fascinated by sunsets."

and have been deligated recently as the impact officer of Global Shapers Haifa community.
In charge of two main projects, MPI which is the (Media Production Institute) and
Lean Forward which is an estabishment working with experts and professionals in Law and Medicine.
The best element to work with in my opinion is people, the more you know how to invest in people the greater a project or a community will be.
I hold a BA in Marketing and Business, was listed 4 Times in the dean’s honor list, and have previously worked in The Arab Bank.
I have also acquired The Advanced Certificate in Performance from the National Conservatory of Music. Enjoy reading books and articles of business, marketing and psychology. In addition to meeting and conversing with people on unlimited topics.

Ali Tabaja is a Machine Learning engineer at Facebook Shops Tel-aviv. His research focuses on natural language processing, a domain in which he had published academic papers and issued US patents. Before Facebook, Ali was a software engineering student at Intel and an applied scientist in Yahoo Labs in Haifa.
In his personal life, Ali enjoys running, reading and discussing myriad topics with his close friends.

Firas Odeh is an AWS engineer at Amazon. He completed his BSc in Computer Science at the university of Haifa. Prior to joining Amazon, Firas worked at Westren Digital as a software developer and got promoted to a Scrum Master. During his employment, he won ‘’Employee of the year- 2019’’.
Beside his Professional life, Firas Volunteers in NGO which aim to promote and help youth at risk. In his free time, Firas loves to explore, surf, bike and ride motorcycle.

Mohammad Kabajah

Mohammad Kabajah is a Sr. Infrastructure Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services, Technology Consultant at Coleman Research Group and Entrepreneur with more than 10 years of experience in the Tech industry from different companies such as Nvidia, Cisco, Pointgrab and Amazon.

He established several startups and had different Patents, Awards and international Achievements such as: Ninjaneer at AWS, 1st place AWS Hackathon, Al-SW Award at AWS, MVP in London Conference, Top 20 at Stars of Science in Qatar, Employee of the Year at Cisco, Top 3 in Falling Walls Germany, participant at Davos Conference 2019, IVLP Alumni at US Department and others.
Beside his professional life, Mohammad has big passion towards social entrepreneurship and volunteering. He is a Co-Founder and member in different organizations around the world which support youth and innovation such as Co-impact, ITwork, Robot Lab, Global Shapers, Jerusalem Hi-tech Form (JHF).

Mohammad has a B.Sc. in Computer systems engineering from Birzeit University. He was born in Jerusalem, and he currently lives in Haifa.

Maram Hussein

Maram Hussein is the Investor Communications Lead at Vintage Investment Partners and from the very few Arabs working for a Venture Capital Fund.
Maram is also a board member at Kav-Mashve (and the youngest onboard) .
Prior to joining Vintage Investments in 2018, Maram worked at Deloitte as a senior auditor of retail companies. Before Deloitte, Maram was a Tax Associate at PwC. Maram also worked at Mercantile Discount bank as a credit analyst.
Maram holds BA in Economics and Accounting from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She worked at Wolters Kluwer as an Internet Remote Tax Researcher during her studies.
